Argyle sweater day! The day after Thanksgiving! While the rest of the country is lining up to shop, my family has a leisurely lunch and goes to our favourite local bookshop for a good book, maybe a cocoa after and we wear argyle sweaters, because we’re stylish.

This month, McIntosh & Burke is being featured at MEW + Company in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Mary, the M in MEW, sent me these pictures of their gorgeous display.
I made this little bunny tote for my friend Meg's gorgeous one year old, Wren. She's basically the sweetest little squidge. The bag is Wren sized so it's about 8 inches by 12 inches, perfect sized for Wren to carry her nice things in. I was thinking of adding some one of a kind totes to the shop but they're a bit time consuming so it's slow going. I'm also working on one for my godson Charlie to carry his library books in but since he's only 9 months old he's not the most literary of fellows so there's no rush.
It's been a long bloggy absence. I've been visiting Iceland, celebrating the end of my husband's law school and the beginning of his working life and running around like crazy at my day job. I've just returned from my company's conference and am getting back into the swing of my real life. I made a sweater with all the yarn I bought in Iceland, and I'm working some sweet new fall animals but this little lady, Ann Badger, will be listed in the shop this week. She's ready for the impending winter with her little pink coat. Look out for more animals in the shop in the coming weeks.
