There are five new glamorous ballerinas in the shop! I am pretty much smitten with mini tutus. Someone stop me.
DC in Winter
It has been raining in DC. Juno gave us the barest hints of snow, but mostly it's just been rainy and in the mid-thirties. I've been sewing tiny tote bags and not leaving the Netflix-and-pots-and-pots-of-tea-coziness of our apartment except when absolutely necessary. It's good weather for cuddling with these dudes and sewing mini-tutus.
January's Animals Brought to You By....
For most of January and half of February, we are pet sitting Amigo, this chunky chihuahua angel. He belongs to a friend of my mothers and he has spent these last cold dark weeks keeping my lap warm. In this dark, blue January there is little better than a lap full of dog, marathon tv and lots of felt. Our dog, Roger, is delighted by the visitor and spends more of his days looking at Amigo in my lap with sad longing, waiting for more rough housing and chasing around the living room.
Ballarinas
After an extra long week at my real job, I spent some lovely quiet evenings sewing tiny tutus and tiny badger feet. Now all of these little ballerinas have lovely jackets and scarfs and will be in the shop soon. Happy Monday!
