Today David and I and the schnauzer are bundling into my teeny tiny car and heading south. It'll be a long drive but well worth it to see uncles and aunts and cousins and parents and the siblings gathering in Lynchburg, Virginia. We're bringing pickled cranberries and carrots and the requisite cheese and crackers and lots of sweaters and stretchy pants. My aunt will make turkey and my generation will go out and see a movie while the older naps. We wish you the happiest of Thanksgivings and all the turkey and pie you can eat.
